Wow, the last day. Hard to believe. The guys have a 106 mile ride form Richmond, Va to Washington, Dc. They will start in about 72F weather and end up in about 86F weather with some scattered thunderstorms along the way.
I can’t imagine what it will feel like to ride into our Nation’s capitol. D.C. is one of my favorite cities. Riding past the Lincoln memorial, the White House, the Mall. It would be amazing.
Well guys, be safe, you continue to be in our prayers. We love you guys, we are proud of you and we want you home soon. Godspeed.

Only 1 Day Left!
Wow, we are only 106 miles from the finish! I am not sure how it will feel to be finished. For the last 32 days I have got up and rode my bike. When I get back to Beaumont I have to concentrate on getting prepared for law school…
Today was a nice ride and everyone seems to be in good spirits.

Well, today the guys will be riding into me! Hehe. I honestly don’t know the origin of my first name, but I have said 1000 times in my life, “Richmond, yeah as in Virginia.”
Anyway, enough about me! More about the boys! They have an 87 mile ride today. They will start in about 74F and end in about 91F so it should not be too bad. Virginia is a beautiful place so they should have some nice scenery.
I know it gets old me saying it, but I am very proud of all of you and I only wish I could have gone through this with you. Maybe when I cash this $200 million dollar lottery ticket! Hehe…I wish!

Hey everyone,
We only have 2 days left! Wow I can’t believe that we have made it this far. Everyone is still riding strong with only a few aches and pains. But it pales in comparison to what the people we are riding for deal with on a daily basis.
I just posted 2 more “in honor of” video’s:
-One is for Al Prebula, he is a friend on our Schlotzsky’s sponsor Troy Vander.
-The other is David Boone, Tom’s Brother
Still Peddling,
